Please be advised that recently an email account (xxxxx@american-waterworks.com) not related to Advanced Labeling and Marking has been compromised and used to phish a large number of companies NOT related to or doing business with ALM. The offender used the identity of a current employee by copying and pasting parts of their normal email signature and excluding any direct contact information (phone or proper email address) in hopes to obscure any followup actions. Several companies have already contacted us to lets us know but we were immediately aware of the issue because we got the same emails. Please make sure to not click on the attachment the email contains and delete the affected email.
